Hey Xanga. So now that it's been almost three months since an update... College is amazing. Mindy (my roommate) is absolutely fantastic and I love her to death. It's weird, everyone is pretty much really friendly. Of course, theres the usual drama, but thats life. Marching band is the best. I love it so freakin much! It just sucks 'cause our schedule changed so we're not going to be at ACCS the night Wilson is there. Ugh. I auditioned for Blackwatch. They asked me to come back, but they also re-recruited so many people, and so there ended up only being one flag spot open and there were eleven people that were going to audition. Sooo I'm not doing Blackwatch this year and I'm going to march Classics with a few girls from WCU (including my Emily!)... It was such an experience even spinning with Blackwatch... their show this year is going to blow everyone away. BUT I'm super-stoked for Classics. I'm 19 now by the way. My birthday was two weeks ago. Wow, one more year of teenager-ism.... really doesn't feel like it. I wish I took AP Theory my senior year. My ear training just sucks now. Speaking of theory, I get really depressed because my professor likes to quote Austin Powers... and I just think about Cooper... Music majors are intense. I have no time for anything. Freshman fifteen? Not yet... Alice is coming to visit me on Sunday. I don't think I've ever been more excited for someone to visit me! Granted, shes the first person to come see me other than my parents, but it's okay... She's amazing. That's all for now. I have class soon. Miss you kids. |
